Where to now?

So the Big Chaos Game is all wrapped up. But what it really decided was who will general the combined forces of Chaos for another gigantic bash in March. We will be crushing the impertinent lackeys of the Corpse God! And then we will play another all-Chaos bash in December, again deciding who will general our armies in March 2011. So I will be keeping up this site to spur me to new reaches of inspiration. Stayed tuned for photos of my Terminators and Havocs!

Stupid Chaos Lord...

I played a game tonight against my buddy Willie. He wanted to try out the new Tyranid codex. I was playing an updated Slaanesh Marine list. We played Spearhead/Annihilation. As I blazed away with Sonic Blasters and plasma guns, we came to a key point. I was using a Chaos Lord armed with Blissgiver. He charged forward to crush some deep-striking Ravenors. And of course he rolled a 1 for his daemon sword. Instead of wiping out the Ravenors and then advancing to put hurt on a Hive Tyrant and his Guard, he died for his lack of control, and i just managed a draw. Yes, the Tyrant/Guard would have killed him, but if he had controlled his blade, I am sure I would have gotten a win. Stupid sword....
